Dan "Hetly" Hedt

Dan Hedt

Dubbed HETLY by bandmates in The Unjust Five, a highschool band, Dan Hedt has kept the nickname for 40 years now and decided to use it always. Since that highschool band, Hetly has gone on to play music through the years in bands such as, Liberty, Rat, Gandy Dancer, Rawlins, Yankee Fire, Wooden Nickel, Phoenix, 25 years in Straight Shooter and most recently The Borough Brothers Band and The Mississippi Hippies. Playing electric, acoustic, bass and steel guitars, a little banjo plus lead and backup vocals, Hetly has performed and enjoyed music his whole life. In the 70’s he took up songwriting which has resulted in a 2 CD's of all original tunes with The Borough Brothers Band and The Mississippi Hippies. Just hitting stride as a songwriter, he plans on getting many more original songs out in the near future.
